Q: Are there any word limitations?

A: Yes! Please keep your essay between 500 words minimum and 700 words maximum.

Q: How is my essay judged?

A: Your application is judged primarily through your demonstration of ethical awareness and competency. It’s not about a right or wrong answer; it’s about how you communicate your opinions and experiences.

Q: When will I learn if I’m a recipient?

A: You will be notified by August 1, 2019.

Q: How do we claim the scholarship money?

A: The money will be given to the Cincinnati State foundation. Please contact the Veterans office for more.
